The Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) is the Norwegian professional authority for handling flammable, reactive, explosive and pressurized materials. Their responsibilities cover local, regional and national handling and transport of hazardous substances. DSB shall have an overview of the risk and vulnerability in society and be a driving force in preventing accidents and crises.
