Omaya Hustadmarmor is a producer of calcium carbonate, a product that is used to produce glossy paper, cardboard packaging, paints, and polymers for plastic packaging. Special build tankers transport the end product from the company’s own quay in Elnesvågen to the customers both in Europe and in America.
The company was founded in 1948. A collaboration with Swiss Omya AG was established in 1976, and today Hustadmarmor is part of the worldwide Omaya group.
